We are passionate about introducing new clean-technology and sustainable design as a means for preserving the environment while improving social and economic conditions in the areas we serve. We are firm believers in the need for resillient infrastructure as a key element for strong and sustainable economic growth in the emerging markets of Latin America.

2.- Educate the Mexican population about the precious natural environment and new environmental technology that can ensure sustainability for their communities.

3.- Cooperate and assist existing governmental programs within México that help prepare for natural disasters.

4.- Position the people of Mexico for job growth in the emerging environmental sectors.

5.- Conduct training programs, share environmental, technical, and economic information that will help create sustainable economies in the villages we serve.

Community Center

Eco Vida is operating in the state of Colima and Michoacan Mexico.

We are currently building an Environmental Education Center as an open and free community resource where all are welcome. The center is available to all public groups, private individuals and government organizations. You can reserve the use of the facilities for any event related to environment, education or social good. Several other non profits have already held their own events and made good use of the modest improvements on-site. Do you have an idea for an envent? Contact us

Eco Vida's management personnel are lookingforward to the day when we can move our offices from Tecoman down to the beach and operate out of the new Environmental Education Center which will include:

  • Sea Turtle Hatchery
  • Events Area
  • Boat Launch Ramp
  • Open Air Classroom
  • Recycling Center
  • Sustainable Technology Demo Area
  • Mobile Science Lab/Office
  • Educative Playground

Please see the video of our facility design below.

News & Events

THANK YOU!

  • BEACH CLEAN UP:  Eco Vida's was proud to cooperate on a beach clean up event that streatched from Argentina to the USA border. "YO AMO MI PLAYA" was organized by the Surf Rider Foundations for all of Latin America.  The Squalo Surf company provided prizes for the winners of our local beach games, and the Agua De Coco company provided free refreshments for all our volunteers.   Thanks to all of our sponsors and the Volunteer Youth Group from Tecoman!

  • RECENTLY:  A very important Public Opinion Survey was conducted jointly by Eco Vida and the University of Colima students. We gathered information and opinions from the local business owners, the residents and the visiting tourists all along the beach corridor. Survey questions centered on the topics of the LOCAL ENVIRONMENT, LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES, TOURISM BUSINESS, MARKETING, and the NEEDS and DESIRES of LOCAL RESIDENTS.  Results will help us build a sustainable community full of happy residents and profitable businesses while protecting the environment for future generations.
